AI Data-Driven
Feed Capabilities

We've levelled up how we manage product feeds. The data layer behind every Shopping, Performance Max and social-catalogue dollar is now a managed, continuously-optimised asset, exported clean to every channel you sell on.

Powered by DataFeedWatch

For most retailers the product feed is set up once and forgotten, a raw export pushed straight from the store to Google. We're changing that. Ecom Nation is investing in a dedicated Feed Excellence practice: a standardised, continuously-optimised feed pipeline run across every client account, built on DataFeedWatch. The principle is simple. Better data in means better performance out, on the same budget, and it's now a core part of how we manage paid media.

Why it matters

The feed is the campaign

In Shopping, PMax and social catalogues, the product feed, not the ad, decides what shows, to whom, for which search, and at what quality. Get the data right and the same spend works harder.

The feed decides what shows

Google and Meta read your feed to choose which products to surface, for which query, at what bid. The creative is downstream of the data. If the data is thin or wrong, the best-managed campaign still underperforms.

Quality compounds across channels

One clean, enriched feed lifts Shopping, Performance Max, the Meta catalogue, TikTok and more at the same time. It's the rare lever that improves every channel at once, without raising budget.

AI-era discovery runs on data

As shopping shifts to AI assistants, Overviews and agents, complete and well-structured product data is what gets a product understood, compared and surfaced. The feed is now the front door.

This is not just optimisation. This is eligibility to compete.
The tool

What DataFeedWatch is

DataFeedWatch is a feed management and optimisation platform. It connects to your store, lets us reshape and enrich the product data with rules (no developers, no manual edits in the store), validates every product, and exports a clean, channel-ready feed to wherever you sell.

It replaces the brittle, manual parts of feed work with a managed system we control on your behalf.

What it removes
  • Hand-editing CSVs and re-uploading by hand
  • Developer tickets to change product data
  • Reformatting the catalogue per channel
  • Silent product disapprovals eating coverage
DataFeedWatch building a required field by combining source attributes
Building required fields. Each channel-required field is assembled from your store data with rules. Here the product ID is combined from the source so it stays stable across exports, which protects your Shopping and catalogue history.
How it works

One pipeline, store to every channel

Four stages, fully managed. Connect the source once, optimise with rules, review before anything goes live, and export everywhere.

01 · Connect
Source

Link your store (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce) or a file, and set the update schedule.

02 · Optimise
Map & rules

Match attributes to each channel's spec, then clean titles, enrich data and set custom labels with rules.

03 · Review
Validate

DataFeedWatch checks every product and flags errors with the exact fix before the feed goes live.

04 · Export
Channels

Push optimised feeds to Google, Meta, TikTok, Amazon and every channel you sell on, refreshed automatically.

Optimising a product title and description with rules and AI in DataFeedWatch
Optimising at the Map & rules step. The Google title is built by rule from your store fields (title, brand and a USP line), and the description is written by AI with the key attributes for Google Shopping.
DataFeedWatch AI detecting and filling missing attribute values
Filling the gaps automatically. Here the AI found 533 products missing a size value and completes them, so products are never held back by incomplete data.
DataFeedWatch Feed Review report with a feed quality score and errors by type
The Review step, before anything goes live. Every product is validated. Here 92% are ready and 8% are flagged with the exact attribute to fix, for a 9.8 out of 10 feed quality score.
DataFeedWatch include and exclude rule removing out-of-stock products from the feed
A safety rule in action. Products are excluded when quantity drops below 1 (out of stock), or when they match a rule such as a seasonal term, so spend never lands on items that can't sell.
The bottom line
Better data in, better performance out, on the same budget.
